Introduction
The UMI Iron is a great looking phone. It is a cross between HTC, Samsung Galaxy and iPhone Plus with a big 5.5 inch screen and a metal body. The phone looks and feels durable. For the price of 295 euros, the UMI Iron has some nice specs: an 1.3 GHz MediaTek MTK6753 34-bit octa-core CPU, a Mali T720 GPU and 3 GB of RAM, so performance is good. The phone has a big 3350 mAh battery which should get the phone running for a full day, but unfortunately, the UMI Iron doesn`t support quick charge nor has any battery-saving mode.

The UMI Iron has Eyeverify security and it works very well, even if you wear contacts. The way the Eyeverify works is that it scans the vein pattern in your eyes and exact positioning of your pupils to make a match, and it can do it at night or in dim light by adjusting the screen brightness. The camera is used for scanning so there won`t be any harm to your eye. The Eyeverify can be foced to require blink before accepting your eyeprint preventing anyone to unlock the phone with a picture of your face. The UMI Iron has a 13 MP Sony IMX214 primary camera which will capture the moments that you consider special in a beautiful way and the 8 MP secondary camera has a beauty mode and it is great for taking selfies.
