C21 Pro: Design
As soon as you see the C21 Pro, you will notice the polycarbonate cover, which is a more unusual choice nowadays, but still a good one. Even though we got used to the products having a glass back, this model is well built. One disadvantage though is that it gets smudged and dirty pretty quickly. Besides this, the dimensions and weight of it are standard, and make it easy to hold in your hand and use.
On the right side of the phone, we can find the power key together with the volume rocker, and on the left side, there is the SIM slot. There, you can either fit two nano SIMs, or a nano SIM and a microSD. At the bottom, there is the main microphone, the USB Type-C entrance and the system speaker. Last, but not least, on the top, you will find all of the sensors. Of course, the fingerprint one is on the back, together with the company logo and the photographic form. This one is made up from four different lenses and the flash LED.
C21 Pro: Hardware and Performance
The Mediatek Helio P60 is an octa-core CPU configured as 4 x Cortex-A73 2.0GHz and 4 x Cortex-A53 2.0GHz. Also, besides the 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory, the latter can be improved by adding a micro SD card. In these conditions, we expect this model to have a great performance, and we must say, we are not disappointed. It performs quite well in daily use, without too much significant lagging. Also, it seems like it can also handle games pretty well. For example, with Call of Duty Mobile, a game that requires some computing power, the C21 Pro managed to keep it going without too much trouble. Unfortunately, you can not really expect too much from it, like a high frame-rate or maximum graphics detail, as it is still a mid-low range phone, but it is still pleasant to use.
C21 Pro: Back camera
The back camera has the following configuration: 16MP + 2MP + 2MP + 2MP. There is no wide-angle sensor, because the other lenses are responsible for depth of field and macros calculation. In these conditions, the interface is also quite simple, as it only provides the essential options. Even so, in optimal daylight conditions, the performance is excellent. Sometimes the colors tend to come out warmer than they actually are, but overall, the yield is good. The details are not excellent, which can be a real disadvantage. During the night, artificial lights are really not this model’s forte point. Also, the details are even poorer. As a general idea, you would not really buy this phone for its camera.
Front camera
The 20 MP front camera is satisfactory, with acceptable details, and a slight beauty mode, which unfortunately, can not be deleted. Even so, you could take advantage of this, as the skin tends to always look smoother. Overall, the performance of the front camera is good enough to give you social media worthy selfies.
Battery
Considering the C21 Pro has a 4000 mAh battery, you can achieve even more than 7 hours and 30 minutes of screen time. Of course, this depends very much on how you use the phone and the apps that you open the most. On average, during a single day, you could maybe get 6 hours of battery if you use the phone continuously. On the other hand, if you do not really spend so much time on your phone, you might even be able to get 15 hours. This is some decent time, especially if you are a moderate user, if you want to play games all day, you might not be too satisfied.
In conclusion, the C21 Pro is a low cost phone that has almost everything anyone needs, without too many frills. There are some compromises, which is totally normal, but this is an overall impressive device for its price range. With good battery and performance, it does not disappoint in daily use.
